Director, Digital Content Strategy
Stacia Jesner has been strategically developing and directing content for the web for over 15 years. Formerly the vice president of several editorial divisions at iVillage.com, including Pregnancy & Parenting, Community, and Lifestyle, Stacia then spent several years consulting on content strategy and development for such hospitals as the Cleveland Clinic, major consumer websites and multinational consumer-packaged-goods companies. She also founded the critically praised hyperlocal e-newsletter/website, Plumberry Jam, which covered shopping, dining and events in the Westchester county, New York, area.
Stacia joined Johns Hopkins Medicine in June of 2012. She and her team of web content specialists focus on leveraging best practices to connect seekers of online medical and health information with the excellence, innovation and care of Hopkins’ physicians and scientists.
Stacia graduated Hamilton College, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She moved to Baltimore in 2010 with her husband and two children. A believer in giving back to her community, Stacia volunteers at CARES, a program of the Govans Ecumenical Development Corporation that provides food and emergency financial assistance to low-income residents of the Govans neighborhood. When she is not at work or at CARES, she is usually found cheering for her two children at their sporting events, walking her Wheaten Terrier, or digging in her garden.
